What type of unit is my officer? Your officer is an infantry unit.

My unit was injured but it still has more than half its HP? A unit gets injured if it loses 50% or more of its HP during a battle. If you unit has negative terrain modifier, it will fight with less HP than normal. A unit with 100 HP and a -8% terrain modifier for example will have only 92 HP in the battle - that means the unit will get injured when it receives 46 (or more) damage, it will be moved to the hospital then. After the battle, the unit can still have 54 out of 100 HP (more than half) because the unit only received 46 damage.
(Note: You can not see the exact HP a unit has left.)
^top It says I have 350/350 xp. Should I level to the next rank? You will level when you go over your max xp for your rank. This is a little confusing to those who have played other xp-based games, but you'll get used to it.
^top My income has gone below the set minimum, is that allowed? There are two types of minimum incomes, the known as the 'soft cap' and the 'hard cap'.
The soft cap refers to the lowest income you can get when buying new units in the castle, for lower ranks this is 0, but higher ranks have minimum incomes below 0; you can see how much exactly in the castle or in the Reference Guide. This minimum applies only when hiring new soldiers in a castle. You can't hire a soldier if it would cause your income to go below the minimum.
The hard cap refers to the lowest income you can get when promoting units. The hard cap is always lower than the soft cap; for officers with a soft cap of 0 the hard cap is -100, for other officers it's twice the soft cap (so the hard cap is -620 if the soft cap is -310, etc).
^top My income is incorrect, how can it be fixed? It will be fixed if you press the dismiss button in your encampment (even if dismissing 0 soldiers, so without any checkboxes checked). Other ways to get your income recalculated are fighting in a battle or buying a soldier.
^top How can I join the army of a higher commander?
You have to go to the Castle in the city centre, you can join armies there. Note you can only join armies which are in the same city as you (if the army is in another city, you will have to move to that city before joining it). Armies with several officers are needed to take cities of your enemy, as it is most of the times hard for a single player to conquer a city on his own. You need to have the Lieutenant rank or higher to see and to join those armies.
^top Can I join the army of someone who has the same rank as me? No, you can't. You can only join an army of someone who is of a higher rank than you are.
^top What happens when my officer dies? Officers fight together with their men and run the same risk of getting hit and getting injured or even killed as every other soldier. When you die in a battle, you will return to the country where you were in but you'll have to start over from private again.
You can also die by suicide, see How do I reset my character?
^top How long does it take for a dead player to revive?
It takes one turn (from the moment of death) for a killed player to be revived. This means it can take anywhere from one minute up to half an hour, depending on when the death occurred. You will revive in the country you were in when you got killed.
^top How do I reset my character? The only way to reset your character is to get killed. The easiest way to get yourself killed is by hitting the 'suicide' button in your profile (but you can get killed in combat too). You can choose between 'suicide in country' and 'suicide out of country'. You can suicide in country as often as you like, and you can suicide out of country (and join another) once every 72 hours. When you suicide, you can start over again immediately, you do not have to wait a turn.
^top I'm not happy with the country I'm in. How do I change it? Your only option will be to commit suicide. You will be able to suicide out of your country once every 72 hours. When you suicide, your entire account will be reset, and you will be able to join another country.
^top I don't like my officer name. How do I change it? You can change your name once each age. You can change it yourself in your profile. Creating a second account to change your name is not allowed (both accounts may be banned when you do this).
^top Is it ok to create a new account (for whatever reason)? No, it's not allowed to have more than 1 account a person. This rule is because having multiple accounts is a good way to spy and because of the policy for name changes. Note that even when your character is dead, creating a new account is not allowed. You have to wait till you are revived and join a country with your first (and only) account.
^top I'm tired of the game how do I delete my character? First off: We're sorry to see you go. You can't delete your account however, the only thing you can do is not log in again: your account will be removed from the game after 3 days (if you log in again at a later time, your account will be reactivated). If you want, you can suicide (or die in another way) before signing off, but that's not necessary.
